There
are so many ways for touring the Island, such as Songthaews
(means two rows) or local bus are whole lot cheaper but slower.
There are no exactly bus stop points on the island, then the
Songthaew  may
be useful for some fine and not raining day.
Tuk Tuk is the small open taxi that you could found anywhere
on the island, just agreed on the price before climbing aboard.
Motorcycle Taxi can be found along roadsides. Recognizable
by numbered green or red vests, these motorcycle taxi go everywhere-very
fast, if need be.
Car Rental is one of the best ways to see Phuket and the
surrounding area on your own. You can drive around the island on
a circular route from Thailand south through Phuket Town, around
Rawai and up the West Coast with intersecting roads across the mountains
periodically. Please remember, always drive on left!.
