Grand Palace
A trip in Bangkok would not completed if you're
not visiting here. The Grand Palace is located
on the riverbank of ChaoPhya River, The Grand
Palace was built by the King Rama I, who was established
the new city on this river bank for more than
200 years ago.
The layout and architecture are in same style
as the old Grand Palace in Ayuthaya, which was
damaged in the war in that period. The Grand Palace
composes of two parts in the area, which are the
Royal Palaces and Wat Pra Keaw , the temple of
the Emerald Buddha.
At this present time, there's not a Royal Family
or a monk leave in. The Grand Palace is opened
for tourists and will be closed for some important
ceremonies because the Royal Family will come
for their processing here.

Temples
There are three most famous temples in Bangkok. The
most famous one is Wat Pra Keaw in the Grand Palace,
where the Emerald Buddha Image was being. Nearby Wat
Pra Keaw is Wat Po, where the Biggest Reclining Buddha
Image is being. In addition, this temple also played
it important role among Thais as a first school in the
ancient time. At this present, Wat Pho is a originated
place for Thai Traditions Massage School.
Opposite Wat Pho is Wat Aroon, or the Morning Temple.
This temple was built by King Rama II on the riverbank
of Chao Phya, which an exquisitely of architectures.

Vimanmek
Mansion
This is the largest Golden Teckwood Mansion in
the world. The Vimanmek was built by the royal
command of King Rama V in 1900. The mansion was
in fact his former Summer Palace because at that
period there were the illness spreaded and damaged
healthy of people. The celebration for the completion
of Vimanmek Mansion was held on March 27, 1901.
The Vimanmek mansion consists of 31 apartments.
The forth floor is where the king privacy zone.
King Rama V who found its clean air and beautiful
surroundings a great deal more congenial than
his former residence in the Grand Palace,a fact
evidenced by the following excerpt from a letter
written of Vimanmek to his son, Prince Boripat
Sukumbhandhu in the summer of 1901 "I very
much enjoy living here. If I were still at the
Grand Palace, I would be finding the heat unbearable
and would have to set out on another trip".
The King reside in Vimanmek Mansion for only around
5 years and moved to the Amporn Satarn Mansion
when it completed in 1906, where he lived until
his untimely death in 1910.
